sometimes i think blondies get undeserved bad press. almost like they’re looked on as the less cool, less sophisticated cousin of a brownie. i love them, and i especially love them like this. balanced with the nutty flavour of browned butter, and some nice texture from the cherries, almonds and chocolate. texturally they’re crispy on top and soft inside. the recipe is almost infinitely adaptable, you can add whichever nuts, dried fruit and chocolate you love best!
